Building and context. How do you make a building disappear whose dimensions contradict the small-scale surroundings? The oversized volume is broken up, parts are hidden under an ascending orchard meadow and thus put into perspective. The large halls are freed and turned into musical sculptures in a landscape that visitors can walk into, with many views of the music and dance rooms. The expansion aims to mediate between the incisive inventory and the surroundings. It builds references in proportion, height and orientation to the respective sides of the environment and can still be read geometrically and formally independently.
